The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world's great long distance walk trails, stretching nearly 1000kms from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills to Albany. The trail meanders through the Wilderness South Coast amongst jarrah, marri, karri and tingle forests, interspersed with sections of coastal peppermint and heath land, traversing some of the most beautiful and wild areas of the south west. It offers facilities unrivalled on any long distance trail in Australia.
The walk track is designed to prompt people of all ages and experienced levels to 'go bush'. Water tanks, picnic tables, pit toilets, huts and tent sites are spaced a days' walk apart.
