The Wilderness forests and ocean are united by winding rivers that flow, crash and cascade down waterfalls, picking up pace in the winter, through pristine inlets to the Southern Ocean. Rugged cliffs and unique rock formations lend dramatic touches to the forest-clad landscapes. The endless turquoise waters, spectacular beaches, abundant marine life and towering forests are made accessible by trails along the beach, through coastal heath, wetlands and forest reserves. The lush, fertile farmland and undulating vine clad hills showcase nature’s best, providing year round peace and tranquility to while away the hours.
The Wilderness Discovery Centre a ‘must see’ whilst visiting the Tree Top walk. An imaginative, interpretative display, both educational and inspiring that provides a focal point to enjoy the vast, natural and Wild Wilderness.
